DECOCENT is a decontamination and concentration kit that enables the processing of samples for microscopy, culture and molecular methods for the identification and isolation of mycobacteria.
DECOCENT is a new method designed and developed to eliminate disadvantages of the Kubica method. The pH of the treated sample is easily adjusted in one step with pH indicator and original neutralization buffer.
It does not require adding phosphate buffer again after centrifugation. Since pH adjustment is completed before centrifugation, it provides more mycobacteria isolation.
It eliminates the risk of cross contamination and saves time and effort.
It is designed as separate disposable kit for each sample.
