MYCOPROSAFE is a kit containing all the necessary materials to safely perform the Sodium hydroxide, N-Acetyl, L-Cys- teine (NALC) decontamination and concentration (Kubica) method.
MYCOPROSAFE increases the rate of isolation of mycobacteria from samples by selectively killing other organisms and by liquefying samples such as sputum for better sedimentation.
Thanks to the decontamination solution with pH indicator, the optimum pH can be easily adjusted.
Contains single use sterile phosphate buffer for each sample.
It eliminates the problem of cross contamination while saving time and effort.
